I don't think you'd want to try installing Chessmaster 9000 in Dosbox, as CM9000 is Windows. After that, you can typically install a program in a few minutes. The first few program installs might take you a while, while you learn the ins-and-outs of Dosbox/D-Fend Reloaded. (Hint - If you decide to try out Dosbox, use the D-Fend Reloaded front end GUI - It's MUCH easier to use: ) It's worth doing if there are old DOS games or other programs that you wish you could still use. The difference mate is that I'm making these remarks as jokes. nowhere has it been mentioned that engines couldnt be downloaded.
the question was only asked to continue the debate i started(and am trying to end). youre not the only one either.my question would be,rather than attacking the guy for answering a question,why not go after the sacarstic question that drew it out of him? it IS obvious that downloading an engine isnt against the rules. not trying to ignite any debate here,just pointing that out.
